MDA CEO Eli Bin emphasizes the importance of the campaign: “We are making every effort to provide a full and dignified holiday meal for underprivileged families. MDA is an organization whose life-saving activities are intertwined with the lives of Israel’s residents, and we are happy to assist in any activity that contributes to the community.”
Bin added that the connection with the community is a top priority for MDA: “We are in constant contact with welfare authorities across the country throughout the year, and especially during the holidays. It is important for us to reach as many families as possible to try and assist. These are humanitarian missions of the highest order.”
The “Wine and Honey” campaign demonstrates MDA’s commitment not only to saving lives in emergencies but also to improving the quality of life for Israeli citizens every day. Through collaboration between the organization’s dedicated volunteers and the wider public, MDA hopes to make the Rosh Hashanah celebrations brighter and more joyful for thousands of families across the country.
