Monday evening, injuries were caused and fires broke out in Ramat Gan and Bnei Brak, near Tel Aviv. The IDF determined that the rocket fired by Hezbollah on central Israel was intercepted, however, the Iron Dome intercepted a surface-to-surface missile that crossed from Lebanon at a high altitude. The debris from the missile hit the ground, causing damage and injuries. The entire incident is under examination.

There was a lot of broken glass from buildings in the area near where the fragments landed and together with the rain that was falling and the fires that broke out, it was a very disturbing scene in these areas that have large populations.

According to the Magen David Adom spokesman, MDA medics and paramedics provide medical treatment and refer 5 injured to hospitals including a 54-year-old woman in serious condition, 3 in moderate condition, and 1 in mild condition.

United States envoy Amos Hochstein is expected in Beirut on Tuesday, in what is seen by some as a sign of progress in ceasefire negotiations conflict between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Many in Israel are concerned that while the ceasefire will lead to a temporary end to the approximately 100 rockets that are being fired daily at Israeli civilians by Hezbollah, it will favor the terror organization who will use the ceasefire to re-establish themselves and prepare for further attacks on Israel.
