Deep in Tyre: Significant IDF Strike

While the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hezbollah awaits approval, the IDF continues its operations: the commander of Hezbollah’s coastal operations division has been eliminated.

The Eliminated – Ahmad Zahbi Al-Zeimah

This morning (Tuesday), in a major airstrike, the IDF eliminated Ahmad Zahbi Al-Zeimah, who served as the commander of Hezbollah’s coastal operations division. In this role, Al-Zeimah was responsible for numerous terror activities carried out by the Lebanese organization against Israel, including infiltration attempts (particularly at the start of the conflict), anti-tank fire at towns near the border (halted after the launch of Operation Northern Arrows), and extensive rocket fire targeting communities across northern Israel.

Al-Zeimah had replaced the previous division commander, who was killed in an IDF airstrike 10 days ago, on November 10. This elimination, carried out while the Israeli government convenes to discuss the details of the ceasefire brokered by mediator Hochstein between Israel and Hezbollah, sends an important message of strength to the world and particularly to Hezbollah: Israel is no longer deterred by Hezbollah, this war has ended in a decisive Israeli victory, and any attempt by Hezbollah to manipulate the terms of the agreement or undermine the security of northern residents will be met with overwhelming force and without hesitation, targeting key figures in the organization.
