Hamas militants in Gaza continue to employ deceitful and immoral warfare in their attacks against Israel. In newly released footage by IDF Arabic spokesperson Avichay Adraee, multiple Hamas operatives are seen placing a multi-barreled rocket launcher inside an open grave at a cemetery in Gaza. Their devious goal is to fire rockets at Israel, then frame Israel for targeting cemeteries when they return fire.
The video also captures the militants laughing as they prepare the rockets. Adraee commented, “Hamas does not even spare the dead,” underscoring the group’s blatant disregard for human dignity and morality.
Along with the video, Edry posted on his X account in Arabic: “Exclusive: A Hamas rocket launcher inside a grave in a cemetery in Gaza. Look at the absurdity of these ISIS-like Hamas members and their low values as they place a rocket launcher filled with missiles into an open grave, documenting themselves laughing together.”

Faltering Rocket Fire
In recent months, Hamas’s rocket capabilities have shown significant decline, signaling the group is nearing the limits of its arsenal despite the absence of a full-scale IDF ground operation in Gaza. Resorting to sporadic rocket fire, Hamas is launching single short-distance rockets every few days and only targeting areas close to the Gaza border.
This sharp reduction in rocket fire indicates a depletion of Hamas’s stockpiles capable of threatening Israeli cities. Additionally, Israel’s control of the Philadelphi Route along the border prevents Hamas from smuggling in new rockets to replenish their arsenal.
Moral and Strategic Implications
Hamas’s use of graves as rocket launch sites reflects a severe moral decline and a desperate attempt to sustain its operations. By desecrating cemeteries, Hamas not only violates religious values but also seeks to manipulate public perception by blaming Israel for strikes on these sites.
This tactic, combined with the group’s dwindling capabilities, highlights the challenges Hamas faces as the IDF maintains pressure on its infrastructure and supply chains. As Adraee’s footage reveals, even the gravest symbols of sanctity are not spared in Hamas’s pursuit of conflict.
