According to an IDF statement, the operation was facilitated by “preliminary intelligence regarding attempted escapes by terrorists, tactical deception, and careful ambush preparation by our forces.”
Multiple terrorist cells were eliminated as they were spotted fleeing with weapons in hand. The forces continue to operate in the area, searching for weapons, destroying infrastructure, shafts, and military structures.

Continuing Successes: Over 240 Terrorists Captured at Kamal Adwan Hospital
This operation follows a focused mission at Kamal Adwan Hospital over the weekend, during which over 240 terrorists were apprehended.
The mission, led by the 401st Brigade Combat Team, lasted less than an hour and targeted the hospital in Jabalia Camp. IDF forces surrounded the facility, arresting terrorists hiding in the area.
The operation was based on an extensive intelligence picture that revealed the presence of hundreds of terrorists from Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) in and around the hospital complex. During the mission, more than 240 terrorists were detained, including some after on-site interrogations. These detainees are expected to provide critical intelligence for continued combat operations.
Additional Eliminations and Discoveries
As part of the operation, IDF forces exposed and captured 15 terrorists who were directly involved in the October 7 massacre. Additionally, approximately 20 terrorists were killed, and explosives planted in the hospital complex were neutralized.
The IDF continues to demonstrate its operational excellence and commitment to dismantling terrorist infrastructure while protecting Israeli citizens from harm.
