IDF forces have neutralized all the areas that were booby-trapped with explosives adjacent to the Indonesian hospital in the Gaza Strip, as released for publication this evening (Monday). The soldiers conducted the neutralization as part of their mission to clear the area and thwart terrorism in and around the hospital last week.

As noted, during a raid by Givati Brigade soldiers, under the command of Division 162, the forces eliminated militants who tried to escape the hospital and arrested dozens of militants. Exactly one year ago, IDF forces found evidence linking the hospital area to the October 7 massacre, including a white Toyota pickup truck like those used by Hamas militants and various weaponry.

Terror Activities Under the Cover of Civil Institutions
During the operation, IDF soldiers discovered a video recorded by Hamas terrorists showing militants planting explosives just 45 meters from the hospital. The IDF spokesperson stated that “this is another example of Hamas’s cynical use of the population and civilian institutions in the Strip for terror activities, flagrantly violating international law.”
