Yesterday (Tuesday), IDF soldiers identified Hezbollah terrorists transferring weapons from a warehouse in southern Lebanon to a nearby vehicle. In a swift operation, the vehicle carrying the weapons and the warehouse where the weapons were stored were targeted and destroyed by Israeli Air Force personnel, neutralizing the threat from the air.

Weapons Cache Discovered in South Lebanon

Last week, combat forces from the IDF’s 769th Brigade, under the command of the 91st Division, carried out a complex operation in the Saluki area, which flows into the Litani River in the Al-Nabatiya district of Lebanon. During the operation, a significant weapons depot hidden in a highly inaccessible location was discovered and destroyed.

During the searches, the forces uncovered a variety of dangerous weapons, including missile launchers, explosive devices, and guided missiles. Additional raids on nearby structures revealed another massive weapons cache containing dozens of Kalashnikov rifles, landmines, grenades, and advanced surveillance equipment.

It should be noted that the area where this operation took place is considered the site of one of the fiercest battles during the Second Lebanon War.
