As a key branch of the Iranian axis, the Houthi regime in Yemen has been launching missiles and UAVs toward Israel, while also disrupting regional maritime freedom. Out of the successful interceptions by the Air Forces, two were partial interceptions, and only one missile strike was identified. Additionally, hundreds of UAVs launched toward Israeli territory failed to cause substantial harm, with many falling in open areas or malfunctioning en route. Only two effective strikes have been identified. “The Air Force continues to act against any aerial threat that endangers the residents of the State of Israel,” the IDF stated today.

As reported yesterday, the IDF has cleverly recruited dozens of Israeli citizens of Yemeni origin recently to serve in the Intelligence Branch, strategically strengthening the front against the Houthis. Knowledgeable in the Yemeni dialect of Arabic, these recruits assist in focused intelligence activities. According to journalist Roy Sharon, some are immigrants from Yemen, while others grew up in Arabic-speaking households with deep familiarity with Yemeni culture and the local language.
