In a complex operation, Israeli Air Force fighter jets attacked an underground Hezbollah weapons depot in the Dahiya district of Beirut, containing strategic armaments. The strike was carried out based on precise intelligence guidance from the Intelligence Directorate, with steps taken to minimize civilian casualties. Simultaneously, intensive operations continue in Gaza, involving the elimination of terrorists and the destruction of terror infrastructure.

Forces from Division 98 continue their activities in southern Lebanon, eliminating terrorists and destroying Hezbollah’s weapons and terror infrastructure. In the past 24 hours, dozens of terrorists were killed in firefights and airstrikes. The troops discovered numerous weapons, including rocket launchers, mortars, and anti-tank missiles aimed at northern Israeli communities, as well as additional arms, grenades, and military equipment.

Under the guidance of the Northern Command, over 140 Hezbollah terror targets were attacked from the air in more than 50 locations across Lebanon. The targets included weapons depots, rocket launchers aimed at Israel, military buildings, and terrorist cells. In one operation, Division 91 forces identified terrorists firing at them and directed Air Force aircraft, which attacked and eliminated the terrorists.

In Gaza, Israeli Air Force aircraft, in coordination with the 454th Fire Brigade, eliminated terrorist Mahmoud Al-Mabhouh, the commander of Hamas’s unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operations in northern Gaza. Al-Mabhouh was responsible for UAV launch operations targeting Israel and IDF forces.

IDF strike in Lebanon:

In the Jabalia area, Division 162 forces eliminated terrorists in close-range encounters and airstrikes over the past 24 hours. In one operation near Rafah, Nahal Task Force soldiers under the command of the Gaza Division used attack drones to eliminate an armed terrorist cell planning an attack against IDF forces.

Before the strike in Beirut, extensive measures were taken to minimize the risk to civilians, including advance warnings to the population in the area. The IDF continues to operate with full force on both fronts—northern and southern. The focus remains on eliminating terrorists, destroying terror infrastructure, and locating weapons, utilizing a variety of ground and aerial means. The operations are conducted with precise intelligence guidance and efforts to reduce harm to civilians.
