Over the weekend, IDF forces continued their intensive operations in southern Lebanon, aiming to thwart the threats posed by Hezbollah and ensure the security of northern Israeli communities. Significant achievements were recorded during focused searches this week, uncovering a wide range of weaponry belonging to the terrorist organization.
During the operation, soldiers from the 769th Brigade discovered a building in a village in southern Lebanon, housing a multi-barrel rocket launcher, hundreds of mortars, explosive devices, and RPG launchers. Outside the building, they found anti-tank firing positions and weapons concealed underground. All discovered armaments were confiscated or destroyed on-site.

Additional Operational Achievements
Close to the same village, the forces discovered another warehouse containing dozens of shoulder-fired missiles, explosive devices, and additional military equipment. The troops confiscated or destroyed this arsenal as well.
These successful missions are the result of intensified operational activity in southern Lebanon. The IDF stated that the operations are conducted “while adhering to the ceasefire terms between Israel and Lebanon,” adding that “the IDF continues to deepen its achievements, remains deployed in southern Lebanon, and will act against any threat to the State of Israel and its citizens.”
