As part of the 162nd Division’s operations in northern Gaza, IDF forces from the 401st Brigade discovered a large cache of weapons and writings referring to the October 7 massacre at a school in Jabalia. These findings highlight the use of public buildings and educational institutions by terrorist organizations for military purposes.
Today (Saturday), IDF forces from the 401st Brigade operated in the Jabalia area as part of the 162nd Division’s campaign in northern Gaza. During the operation, the forces returned to Jabalia and carried out offensive actions against terrorist infrastructure.
So far, dozens of militants have reportedly been eliminated through precise airstrikes and close combat. In addition, many weapons and buildings used by the enemy for terrorist activities were destroyed.
During the operation, the soldiers found a wide range of weapons at a school located in a civilian neighborhood, including explosives, ammunition for various weapons, explosive devices, and mortars.
A particularly disturbing discovery was made in one of the classrooms: a blackboard with Arabic writings praising the massacre that took place on October 7. This finding emphasizes the cynical use of educational institutions by terrorist organizations for military and propaganda purposes.
These revelations illustrate the complex challenges faced by IDF forces in their fight in the Gaza Strip, as terrorist organizations use public buildings and schools as military bases, endangering the civilian population.
