IDF Launches Operation in Tulkarm: Counter-Terrorism, Neutralizing Terrorists, and Arresting Suspects

Security forces began operations last night across Judea and Samaria. As part of a brigade operation in Tulkarm, Nablus, and Yatma, 18 wanted individuals were arrested, weapons were confiscated, and additional suspects were detained in various locations.

The IDF, Shin Bet, and police operated last night (Monday to Tuesday) as part of a large-scale brigade operation in Tulkarm and other areas in Judea and Samaria, aimed at thwarting terrorism and damaging its infrastructure. The forces arrested 18 wanted individuals, eliminated a terrorist during a face-to-face battle, and confiscated many weapons, including rifles and pistols.

Simultaneously, security forces operated in several other locations. In the Ephraim Brigade, as part of efforts to confiscate weapons, rifles and pistols were seized, and two wanted individuals were arrested.

Counter-Terrorism Across Judea and Samaria

In Nablus, undercover Border Police officers from the West Bank, along with forces from the Samaria Brigade, shot at a terrorist who tried to flee and neutralized him. Additionally, the forces arrested two more terrorists in this operation. In the village of Yatma near Nablus, three additional wanted individuals were arrested during focused counter-terrorism activities.
