Last night (Saturday), the IDF successfully completed a precise strike on military targets within Iran as part of Operation “Days of Repentance.” The strike was conducted in response to the Iranian regime’s ongoing attacks on Israel in recent months, specifically following last week’s drone and missile launches toward Israel.
At 2:28 AM, IDF Spokesperson Brigadier General Daniel Hagari announced that the IDF was striking military targets in Iran. The operation was directed by the political echelon, with IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi and Air Force Commander Maj. Gen. Tomer Bar overseeing the mission from the Air Force Command Center in the Kirya.

At 6:30 AM, the IDF Spokesperson updated that the Air Force jets had returned safely after completing the mission. “The retaliatory strike has been completed, and its objectives were achieved,” said Brig. Gen. Hagari. “The targets were selected from a broad target bank, and we will be ready to select and strike additional targets if necessary.”
In his address to the foreign media, the IDF Spokesperson emphasized, “Our message is clear: anyone who threatens Israel and seeks to escalate the region further will pay a heavy price. Today, we demonstrated our capability to act decisively, and we are prepared – both offensively and defensively – to protect Israel and its citizens.”
During the operation, no changes were made to the Home Front Command’s guidelines for civilians. However, the public was advised to remain vigilant and adhere to instructions. The IDF continues to monitor developments from Iran and its proxies in the region.
