In the last few days, the IDF has been targeting Hezbollah’s financial institutions that enable them to receive money from Iran as well as Lebanese citizens to fund their terror attacks on Israel. Buildings have been blown up and funding routes are being cut off in an attempt to defund Hezbollah.
Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari challenges the Lebanese government to find hundreds of millions of dollars of cash and gold in Nasrallah’s bunker, beneath a hospital in Beirut.
Rather than destroying the bunker which would destroy the hospital (and lead to more condemnation of Israel), or seizing the money, it seems the IDF has an unusual plan to tempt the Lebanese government to take responsibility for the terror that has developed on the back of its citizens.
