Over the past year, the Houthi regime has repeatedly attacked Israel, launching drones and missiles, most of which were successfully intercepted. As reported earlier today (Thursday), Air Force fighter jets and aircraft, in collaboration with the Intelligence Directorate and the Navy, carried out an operation involving a flight of nearly 2,000 kilometers.
During the operation, more than 60 bombs were deployed against Houthi military targets along the western coastline and deep within Yemen. The targets included fuel and oil storage facilities, two power stations, and eight tugboats. Disabling these assets significantly impacts the Houthi forces’ military capabilities.

The strikes aim to destabilize the Houthi terror regime by impairing its ability to exploit infrastructure for military and terror-related purposes, including transferring weapons from Iran. Operating with Iranian funding and guidance, as well as in collaboration with Iraqi militias, the Houthis seek to harm Israel, destabilize regional security, and disrupt global maritime freedom. Consequently, the IDF continues to act decisively, emphasizing its commitment to protecting Israeli citizens and neutralizing threats—at any distance and by any necessary means.
