As part of the IDF’s efforts to supply medical resources to residents in Gaza, 1,000 units of blood were delivered on Thursday through the Kerem Shalom Crossing. This was coordinated by the Gaza District Coordination and Liaison Office within COGAT, along with additional international aid organizations. These blood units are designated for Nasser Hospital in southern Gaza, supporting hospital operations, ongoing treatments, and maintaining critical hospital systems.

The blood units are expected to be distributed to Nasser Hospital in the coming days. This delivery is part of COGAT’s broader medical assistance initiatives, conducted in cooperation with international aid organizations, including the establishment of 14 field hospitals, and more than 2,800 trucks carrying 28,000 tons of medical equipment and other sanitary materials that have been delivered to Gaza.

The IDF, through COGAT, will continue to act in accordance with international law to provide humanitarian aid to Gaza residents, with particular emphasis on the medical field.
