The Traffic Division of the Israel Police continues its determined and uncompromising fight against road violence and life-threatening traffic violations. Under the guidance of Police Commissioner Chief Superintendent Dani Levy, a special enforcement operation was carried out on Highway 79 near the Somech interchange.
During the operation, a national motorcycle unit officer signaled a motorcyclist to stop for a routine check. It was discovered that the rider, a 27-year-old resident of Kafr Manda, was riding a motorcycle requiring an A license, while he only held an A1 license for motorcycles up to 47 horsepower, which did not qualify him to ride the motorcycle in question.
Following this discovery, the rider was handed over to traffic investigators. After his interrogation, he was released under restrictive conditions, including house arrest. As part of the enforcement measures, the motorcycle was impounded for 30 days.
