Two false alarms occurred at the northern border – the ceasefire continues:
A siren was sounded at 3 am in Al-Aramsha, but it was clarified by the IDF as a false identification due to flare gun fire by the military. Similarly, a UAV infiltration alert was sounded at 11:00 PM last night (Wednesday), but also was later reported by the IDF to be a false identification. This marked the end of the first 28 hours of the ceasefire with Hezbollah without violations.

The ceasefire officially went into effect yesterday at 4:00 AM, following 14 months of fighting. Defense Minister Israel Katz explained that residents will not be returned to the north in the initial phase as a precautionary measure and to remain on alert for a scenario in which Hezbollah would violate the ceasefire, leading to renewed escalation.

Seizing the Last Moments: The Israeli Air Force Destroyed Hezbollah’s Largest Precision Missile Manufacturing Facility
Ahead of the ceasefire taking effect, the Air Force carried out several waves of strikes across Lebanon, including in Beirut and at the border crossing between Syria and Lebanon. During a full 4-hour attack, the largest precision missile components production site of Hezbollah was targeted, measuring 1.5 kilometers and located underground near the Syrian border.

The ceasefire follows a slow but consistent escalation in clashes between Israel and Hezbollah, which began with the terrorist organization’s entry into the conflict on October 9, during which most of the organization’s weapons and production means were destroyed, southern Lebanon was captured up to the Litani River, and the military command chain was eliminated, including the organization’s secretary-general, Hassan Nasrallah.

At the Southern Border: Destruction of Hamas Terror
The IDF continues fighting on the Southern Front: IDF forces identified a drone that crossed from Egypt into Israeli territory in the Paran Brigade area yesterday, according to the IDF Spokesperson. It was further reported that “the drone was shot down by a Karakal Battalion force, which arrived at the location and found four rifles, five magazines, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition on the drone.”

Meanwhile, in the Gaza Strip, thousands of soldiers from Division 162 continue fighting, mainly in Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahia, and Jabalia in the northern strip. In military operations, terror infrastructure is being destroyed and many terrorists are being eliminated.

Additionally, Division 99 operates along the Netzarim route, where a new road has been laid that divides the strip into two. In Rafah, the Gaza Division is battling terrorists and working to maintain the Philadelphi route and the border of the strip. The military pressures also serves as a means to increase pressure on Hamas to advance negotiations for the release of 101 hostages being held in the strip.
