Simultaneously, Israeli Air Force aircraft, directed by Northern Command, continued attacking Hezbollah militants and terror targets in Lebanon, including launchers, military structures, and anti-tank missile positions.
A notable incident occurred last night when soldiers from the 646th Brigade spotted Hezbollah militants entering a school building in the village of Tyre Harfa. Hezbollah had been using the school for terrorist purposes and had even placed a launcher aimed at Israeli territory inside the building. Shortly thereafter, Israeli aircraft struck and eliminated the militants within the school. The IDF emphasized that this is yet another example of Hezbollah exploiting civilian spaces for terrorism, endangering innocent civilians.
As part of additional operations, the 2nd Brigade was active in the area, with fighter jets and combat helicopters attacking Hezbollah observation posts, anti-tank launchers, and ambush positions. These actions are part of the IDF’s broad efforts to disrupt Hezbollah’s terror activities and push the threat further from Israel’s northern border.
