In response to Houthi attacks on Israel, foreign sources in Yemen are reporting today (Thursday) that the Israeli Air Force is targeting Houthi positions at the international airport in Sana’a, coinciding with Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi’s press conference.

The Saudi channel Al-Hadath reported that the following were targeted: the Sana’a airport, the port of Al-Hudaydah, and power and oil facilities. Additionally, the report mentions that at least seven strikes were conducted in Sana’a and three in Al-Hudaydah.

An Israeli source confirmed to the Arabic channel Sky News that this is indeed an Israeli attack, and the IDF is currently carrying out strikes at the international airport in Sana’a.

“There Will Be an Escalation in Israeli Attacks”

This morning, we published statements from security officials regarding Israel’s expected response against the Houthis: “There will be an escalation in Israeli attacks. But this is nothing compared to what will happen to them after the Trump administration takes office. The Americans are preparing to impose an embargo and heavy sanctions on them,” according to Ynet.
