For the second night in a row and the fourth time this week, alarms were activated last night (between Tuesday and Wednesday) in numerous communities in the central and lowland regions after the Houthis launched another missile from Yemen toward central Israel.
The IDF spokesperson stated that “a missile launched from Yemen was intercepted before crossing into Israeli territory. Alerts for missile and rocket fire were activated due to concerns over falling debris from the interception.” According to MDA, nine people were injured on their way to shelters, and two suffered from anxiety. Israeli Police located remnants of the interception in the lowland area this morning following searches.
“Whoever sponsors Houthi terrorism will pay the full price”
Defense Minister Israel Katz visited the “Arrow” missile battery yesterday, where he made another firm statement about the Houthis: “We will not tolerate the fact that the Houthis continue firing on the State of Israel. I warned and said that just as we dealt with Sinwar in Gaza, Haniyeh in Tehran, and Nasrallah in Beirut, we will also deal with the Houthi leaders in Sana’a and anywhere in Yemen.”

The Defense Minister added that Israel would act against the Houthis and their infrastructure “to eliminate the threat and remove the dangers to the State of Israel, to achieve our goals. Whoever sponsors Houthi terrorism in Hodeidah or Sana’a will pay the full price. We rely on no one except the IDF to protect the communities and residents. We will not allow threats to develop and will act preemptively against any threat.”
