Ishay Ribo, one of the leading artists in Israeli music, whose songs cross sectors and touch hearts, shared emotional and personal moments from recent weeks with his followers last Friday. These included joyful experiences and a beautiful family photo. Ribo, married to Yael, the daughter of Rabbi Avner Tunick, head of the “Nachat Ruach” Yeshiva in Moshav Tifrah, is a father of five.

“Struggling to Find Words”
In a heartfelt post, Ribo described the joyful events in his life, including the bar mitzvah of his eldest son, Yonatan, who entered the mitzvah-observing age. “I struggle to find words to summarize the sequence of recent days filled with gifts and grace for me and my family,” he wrote.

The post continued with a description of his recent performances:
“It started with our eldest, Yonatan, entering the mitzvah-observing age, and we had a magical bar mitzvah Shabbat in Jerusalem, followed by a joyous and thankful celebration on Saturday night.”

Ribo also shared his experiences performing alongside other artists:
“This continued with a series of extraordinary and unique ‘Tzama’ performances alongside the amazing Avraham Fried and Amir Dadon (a total of 16 shows!).”

Finally, Ribo mentioned a launch event for his new album that concluded his bright and eventful week:
“And we ended this bright week last night with a launch performance for the new album at the Hangar, where during the event we had the privilege to light the second Hanukkah candle alongside Moran Stella Yanai, who, by Heaven’s mercy, returned from captivity in Gaza.”

He also noted prayers for the safe return of all hostages to their homes and shared his plans to continue touring with his band, bringing the light of Hanukkah to audiences worldwide in New York, Miami, and Uruguay.
