At the opening of today’s (Sunday) government meeting, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu discussed the recent fall of debris from a Houthi missile near Lod and the situation in northern Israel. Netanyahu emphasized the government’s commitment to the security of Israeli citizens and issued warnings to Israel’s enemies.
Addressing the situation in the north, Netanyahu stated, “The current situation will not continue. We will do whatever is necessary to return our residents safely to their homes.” He also issued a stern warning to the Houthis: “They should already know that we exact a heavy price for any attempt to harm us. Those in need of a reminder are welcome to visit the port of Hodeidah.”
Netanyahu highlighted the broader struggle against Iran: “We are engaged in a multi-front campaign against Iran’s axis of evil, which seeks to destroy us. Anyone who attacks us will not escape our retribution. Hamas is already learning this through our determined actions, which will lead to its destruction and the release of all our hostages.”

The current situation will not continue. I am committed to this, the government is committed to this, and we will not settle for less. We will accomplish this thanks to the bravery of our fighters and our unity as a nation, standing together against our enemies to secure our future.”
