The IDF Spokesperson announced this morning that, over the weekend, a combined operation involving Israeli aircraft, the Artillery Brigade 215, Military Intelligence (AMAN), and the Shin Bet eliminated terrorist Ahmad Abd Khalim Abu Hussain, head of the artillery (indirect fire) unit of the East Jabalia Battalion in the Hamas terror organization.
It was further reported that “the terrorist was responsible for the launching of numerous rockets and mortar shells toward the Israeli home front and toward IDF forces operating in the Gaza Strip.”
In addition to the elimination of the head of the artillery unit, the IDF announced the elimination of a terrorist who participated in the October 7 massacre: “In this attack, several other terrorists from the Hamas terror organization were eliminated, including the terrorist Muhammad Abd al-Rahman Mahmoud Zaqoot, who infiltrated Israeli territory and participated in the brutal massacre on October 7,” the military reported.
