The British BBC network reported this morning (Monday) that it received the list of 34 hostages that Hamas is willing to release in the humanitarian phase of the emerging deal. According to the report, the list does not specify which of the hostages are alive and which are dead. Among others, it includes ten women, 11 adults aged 50-85, and also the two Bibas children, Ariel and Kfir, whom Hamas previously announced as dead without proof. The list also includes hostages whom Hamas defined as “ill.”

At the same time, the Saudi Al-Sharq network published the alleged full list, including names and ages. It is emphasized that the names were not published by the BBC but only by Al-Sharq, and this is a list that cannot be verified at this stage, and the fate of the hostages listed in it is unknown.

Among the names mentioned in the list are Hisham Al-Sayed and Avera Mengistu – but not the two fallen soldiers of Operation “Protective Edge,” Hadar Goldin and Oron Shaul.

It should be noted that yesterday, alongside the Mossad chief’s trip for negotiations in Qatar, the Prime Minister’s Office denied the report claiming that Israel received a list of 34 hostages to be released in the deal.
