Division 99, operating in the Netzarim Corridor — a large area under IDF control in central Gaza — has recently conducted several raids on terror targets along the corridor’s northern and southern flanks. These raids targeted areas north in Gaza City, specifically in the Sabra and Zeitoun neighborhoods, and south in the Nuseirat refugee camp, an area where the IDF has so far refrained from full-scale maneuvers during the war. It is also the location from which four hostages were freed as part of “Operation Arnon.” Currently, two reserve brigades, Brigades 179 and 551, are operating under this division.
In one of these strikes, numerous terrorists were eliminated, including seven directly involved in the October 7 attack on Israel, the event that initiated the war over a year ago. Israel had pledged at the time to eliminate all those responsible for the attack, and this promise is steadily being fulfilled.
List of Eliminated Terrorists:
– Abd al-Razak – A Hamas operative who also served as an engineering officer in the Central Camp Brigade and a member of the Nukhba elite force that infiltrated Israel on October 7.
– Marzouk al-Khur – A Hamas operative who was part of a group of terrorists that infiltrated Israel on October 7.
– Maaz al-Khur – Another member of the Hamas group that participated in the October 7 infiltration.
– Abed Abu-Awad Yusri – A Hamas operative involved in the October 7 attack.
– Omar Abu-Abdallah – A Hamas operative who infiltrated Israel on October 7.
– Ahmad Zahid – A Nukhba operative who participated in the October 7 attack.
– Maad Abu-Garbua – A Hamas terrorist who was part of the group that entered Israel on October 7.
