Last night (between Tuesday and Wednesday), Israeli Air Force fighter jets attacked a Hezbollah terrorist in the Beit Lif area in southern Lebanon.
Additionally, Israeli Air Force fighter jets attacked Hezbollah terror organization weapons depots in the Bekaa region, deep in Lebanon. Following the strikes, secondary explosions were identified, indicating the presence of weapons in the targeted depots. An air defense compound used by Hezbollah in the Bekaa area, which posed a threat to Air Force aircraft, was also attacked.

The IDF Spokesperson updated this morning (Wednesday) that following alerts about rocket and missile fire activated in the Golan Heights area, approximately 50 rockets were identified as crossing from Lebanon into Israeli territory. Some were intercepted by air defense fighters, and several impacts were identified in the Katzrin area. Regarding the alert in the Upper Galilee area about the intrusion of a hostile aircraft at 8:23 AM, it was a false identification which happens sometimes in the north for various technical reasons.
Concerning the impacts, seven firefighting teams from the Galilee-Golan station are operating at several locations where direct hits on buildings were reported in the Katzrin area. In one incident, firefighters are extinguishing a fire in a building and searching for trapped individuals. The teams on site contained a gas leak and prevented a major disaster. In another location, a fire broke out in an open area, and firefighters are working to prevent the fire from spreading.
Event Commander, Senior Firefighter Dror Bohnik: “This is an unusual rocket barrage. The firefighters are dealing with several sites, with the main effort focused on the building in Katzrin that sustained a direct hit.”
