The WhatsApp company is currently working on a new development, a feature of automatic message translation. The feature that exists in the Telegram messaging application only in individual messages and not in a full conversation, is expected to be released in the coming weeks to beta users of the application, in order to test the effectiveness of the feature.
According to various publications, it seems that initially the translation will work with only five languages - Arabic, Spanish, Indian, Portuguese and Russian, but it is expected that additional languages will be added to the application later. It should be noted that the translation is not sent to any external party and takes place entirely in the application, which will not harm the privacy and security of the conversations, a principle that guides WhatsApp in all versions of the application.
In the current update, the Hebrew language is not expected to take part, but it is not impossible that in the coming months we will be able to translate complete messages into Hebrew.
